I am associated with a few penpal sites. Two of these sites have an internal messaging system. When I use that, it is to inform the person I am writing to that I would like to correspond. However, I am not a fan of the built in messaging system, and will want to move to email as quickly as possible. With email, I can use my email client to receive and send emails. With the site’s messaging system, I have to go to the site, login, and go to the messages. I then have to select the message I want to read, and write a reply. Also, there might be a timeout which now forces me to copy the message, and paste it into my text editor so I can write a reply. This is more work than it needs to be.
With that said, if you insist on using the messaging system, then I wish you all the best of luck in finding the penpal that you would want. If you don’t want me to have your primary email address, then I would suggest that you create a free email address exclusively for pen pals. If you want to go to web sites, log in, and navigate that system, then you are more than welcomed to. With that said, if you want my email address, it is frank@fsp.ws.
