Numbers

+1 4126829751 (Pittsburgh PA) – iPhone

My cellular number rings to SIM 1 of my iPhone 14 Pro. This is designed to allow for a unified telephone number for all of my calls. I still have a home phone which has multiple numbers that one could call based on their preference. I hope to keep the iPhone 14 Pro for another few more years. I might consider upgrading with the iPhone 20. I would have to turn off the number lock in order to move the number over, but this will be a small price to pay to reduce the chance of SIM swapping.

Carriers

The carrier for the iPhone provides me with unlimited voice, unlimited SMS, and 5GB per month in data. This is more than enough for my needs even though this is likely the primary phone that I will use. Obviously, I have Wifi at home, and use my home’s connection when I am home. While the iPhone can accept dual SIMs, both are eSIM only. This would mean that I could not get a company as a second carrier if they don’t support eSIM.

Devices

Because of the preference for the iPhone, I would want to use that phone. Since this phone is more than a few years old, I am hoping to keep it for another couple of years. This is because iPhones are very expensive, and therefore a significant charge to my account in order to acquire it. Since I do want the bigger screen, I need the iPhone Pro Max in order for the cost to be worthwhile.

Conclusion

The iPhone is my only number that needs to be disclosed here. I have unlimited voice, and SMS + 5GB of data. This is more than I would ever need. The reason for this is I rarely get calls, and I only go out of my apartment a couple of times a week. With that said, I want to keep my phone for as long as possible. This is due to the high cost of any iPhone much less to say the iPhone Pro Max which is the most expensive lineup. Since I want to keep this phone until the iPhone 20, I still have a couple of more years with the 14 Pro.
