Numbers
+1 8556829751 (Toll-Free)
My forwarding number is just that – forwards the calls from the number dialed to one and/or more numbers. In my case, the forwarding number rings to my cellular phone, and my home phone. This is intended to assure that everyone that needs to reach me will be able to reach me. Since this is a toll-free number, anyone in the NANP can call this number as a local call, and I will pick up the charges that calling this number will incur. I would ask that if you can call a +1 412 number as a domestic call, to please use that number. If I am home, I will always answer through my home phone to reduce the charges that I would otherwise have to pay for.
Carriers
I am not disclosing the carrier, but since this number is a toll-free number, it would be treated as such. I will have to have the funds available to cover the calling rates. This carrier is the same as my SIP provider. If this number goes to voicemail, then one would likely leave a voicemail on my home phone’s voicemail box.
Devices
Technically, there are no devices associated with this phone number. Instead, calls rings my cellular lines, and my home phone line. Therefore, this is a service feature, and not really a product. If you are interested in devices, consider the appropriate page for that information.
Conclusion
I have decided to use my toll-free number as the forwarding number to make it easier for one to know my number. The only difference between this and my cellular number is the first 3 numbers of my domestic number. I do ask that if you can, you call my home, or cellular phone directly, and save me the cost of paying for the forwarding rates. Otherwise, I will pay between 2¢ and 24¢ per minute depending on the first 3 digits of your telephone number. International numbers will not be able to use this number.
