Forwarder

Numbers

Undisclosed (Pittsburgh PA)

I have multiple numbers, and some may say too many. However, every phone has a role to serve, and with that said, I don’t see anything changing. The forwarder will ring all of my phone lines, and designed to reach me no matter which line is next to me. If someone needs to reach me, and they have this number, they can call it, and I will choose which phone to answer. When I answer a phone, the other phones will show a “missed call” even though I picked it up on another line.

Since the forwarding number is not disclosed, it is provided to only a select few people, and I am able to change the number if I should get regular SPAM, or scam calls. Since this number is pretty powerful, only those that would call me regularly, and only those that I feel will benefit from having this number will receive it.

Carriers

I am not disclosing the carrier for this phone line. This is a free telephone service though. This makes life a little easier as it frees up financial resources for other things. By using this service, all of my phones will ring. In this case, since the number is not tied to my home phone provider, I couldn’t have it ring to my extension directly. With that in mind, I have a Pittsburgh local number to allow this phone to forward to.

Devices

Technically, there are no devices associated with this phone number. Instead, calls rings my cellular lines, and my home phone line. Therefore, this is a service feature, and not really a product. If you are interested in devices, consider the appropriate page for that information.

Conclusion

The Forwarder number will ring the phones. It is pretty simple and straight forward. By using the service provider, I am able to keep my costs of operations down. I have discretionary funds to support another line, but would still rather to keep the cost of telephone services down. By having a free forwarding number, it will make sense to put that service provider to use. I am sure they have some AI system analyzing any SMS, or voicemail I receive, but that is the cost of getting something for free.
